John Morris Scientific is proud to introduce Julabo's latest addition to the new Presto® range of highly dynamic temperature control systems, the air-cooled A80 and water-cooled W80. With high efficiency and unsurpassed performance these new models are ideal for modern laboratories.

Both systems feature large heating (1.8 kW) and cooling (1.2 kW) capacities and a working temperature range from -80 to +250°C with one bath fluid, subject to availability of bath fluids. Current available fluid is -85 to +170ºC. They are robust and reliable even in increased room temperatures up to +40 °C. For optimized performance during operation the maximum heating capacity automatically adjusts to the power input of the main power supply.

Powerful, maintenance-free pumps provide up to 1.7 bar and pump up to 40 L/min max. They guarantee high flow rates at consistent pressure and dynamically adjust to viscosity changes of bath fluids. The required pump capacity can be adjusted in four stages or via a pre-programmed pressure value.

All units in the new Presto® range feature a filling opening which can be easily accessed from the top, whisper quiet operation and an integrated 5.7" industrial grade colour touch screen.

The new touch screen provides users with a clear and well organised view of important information while greatly improving user friendliness. Fingertip control via the new touch-screen makes the Presto® extremely easy to operate (even when wearing gloves). Extensive interfaces permit flexible application in laboratories with remote control via an Ethernet network, wireless control with JULABO's WirelessTEMP solution or integration into control systems.

As with other Julabo instruments, the new Presto® units have closed side panels without ventilation slits, thereby reducing the overall footprint.  A retractable handle and integrated rollers make it easy for one person to move the new Presto®.

 JULABO are proud to introduce the new range of PRESTO® temperature control systems. The new air-cooled A30 and A40, and the water-cooled W40 have been specifically designed for highly precise, temperature control applications as well as rapid temperature changes making them ideal for reactor vessels, material stress tests, or temperature simulations.

The new PRESTO® range features large heating (2.8 kW) and cooling (1.2 kW) capacities and a wide working temperature range of -40 to +250°C (only requires one bath fluid for the entire working temperature range). These systems are capable of compensating for exothermic and endothermic reactions, and work reliably even in ambient temperatures up to +40 °C.

Magnetically-coupled pumps in the PRESTO® units are powerful and maintenance free. Laboratory users benefit from high flow rates, constant pressure, and a controlled build-up of pump pressure. The pump in the A30 has a rated pressure of 0.5 bar and a maximum flow rate of 20 Lpm. The A40 and W40 have more powerful pumps with pressure up to 1.7 bar and a flow rate as high as 40 Lpm. The operator can adjust pump capacity by selecting one of five stages or by entering a specific pressure. The closed pumping loop isolates the heat transfer liquid from ambient air, preventing penetration of moisture and oxidation. Once in operation, the new PRESTO® units are whisper quiet

The new integrated 5.7 inch industrial grade touch screen provides users with a clear and well organised view of important information while greatly improving user friendliness. Fingertip control via the new touchscreen makes the PRESTO extremely easy to operate.

Julabo’s CF series offers compact refrigerant/heating circulators with working temperature ranges between -40°C and +200°C.

The Units are small enough to be used within complex installations. A maximum ambient temperature of 400°C and forced ventilation air cooling ensure performance even when closely positioned between other instruments. All units offera heating capacity of 2kW and depending on the model, cooling capacities up to 470 W.

All models feature pump connections for external temperature applications and a bath opening for temperature control of small objects directly in the circulator bath. Wetted parts are stainless steel or plastic.

The series provides microprocessor electronics with high-temperature stabilities as well as warning and safety functions. Th high tech controller versions offer free programmability and have interfaces for external temperature sensors or data communications.

John Morris Scientific is pleased to present Julabo’s F38-ME Refrigerated/Heating Circulator - a standard instrument in the beverage industry.

The F38-ME is used to simulate beer and wine aging processes to determine durability and transport conditions of bottled beer. The F38-ME has been designed for testing in a range from -38 to +80°C.

The F38-ME features a range of pre-programmed test ramps for forcing tests to enable convenient operation. However custom test cycles can easily be programmed to suit current parameters, too. The beer bottles are exposed to heating and cooling cycles until the interpolated photometer has assessed turbidity.

The F38-ME has a stainless steel insert basket holding up to 20 standard beer bottles. In addition Julabo’s "beer killer" has castors for easy transport. A removable plexiglass cover protects users and provides improved temperature control.

Julabo’s Recirculating Chiller FL Series are the latest generation of chillers for routine cooling applications.

With twenty different models in both air or water cooled options, Julabo offers the ideal solution for any application.

Compact chillers with cooling capacities up to 1.7 kW are ideal for typical laboratory applications and can be placed under the laboratory bench. Models with cooling capacities up to 11 kW are suitable for cooling of electron microscopes and lasers.

The working temperature range covers -20°C to +40°C. The maximum return line temperature of +80°C sets new standards and offers application protection. Unlike most chillers on the market the FL series chillers can be operated with water, water-glycol mixture and silicone oils.

All units have an LED temperature display integrated into a splash proof keypad for easy cleaning. The lift-up cover is placed on the top, providing easy access to the filling port. All models include an easily visible filling level indicator.

Our solutions include Heating Circulators and Refrigerated/Heating-Circulators that are ideally suited for both techniques.

Sous-Vide cooking was originally developed in the kitchen of George Pralus in 1974 and literally means 'under vacuum'. His first application was a terrine of foie gras, but today this technique is used to create exciting textures and flavours by sealing ingredients in a plastic bag, under vacuum, and then cooking slowly at temperatures well below those at atmospheric pressure.

In addition Sous-Vide storage - or cook & chill - is becoming more widely used to cook gourmet meals and then to rapidly cool them. Before serving, the foods are heated in the original bags, the clear benefits being a significantly increased shelf life of a gourmet meal without any loss of texture or taste.

Julabo products are easy to use and safe. Two independent temperature sensors ensure the safety temperature settings are never exceeded. The design is extremely robust and allows for convenient transport.

Practical accessories like temperature sondes and special puncture seals complete the product range.

The baths rapidly heat to 100°C with an internal 2000W heater yet gently take care of samples with temperature a stability of ±2°C.

Safety feature include dual skin design to prevent scalds and burns and a clever recessed lip allows condensates to flow back into the bath reducing the need for constant top-ups when used in conjunction with the clear, non-crazing Makrolon lid.

A splash-proof mains switch and tactile keypad provide added safety and convenient control.

The TW series offers a small footprint and utilises a powerful microprocessor controller with LED to display actual temperature, setpoint, high and low temperature warning values, as well as a digital timer.
