Vacubrand are proud to introduce two new diaphragm pumps, the ME 1 and ME 1 C for filtration and sample preparation in chemistry, microbiology, waste water control and other analytical applications. These two pumps are compact, offer high performance and are easy to use. They are ideal for both single and multiple filtrations.

The ME 1 is suitable for aqueous filtration and the ME 1C with its exceptional chemical resistance properties is ideal for more aggressive solvents.

With a new top mounted power switch and space saving design, the ME 1 and ME 1 C are easy to use (even with gloves) and require minimal bench space. An optional manual control valve is available with a dial gauge to enable variable fine adjustment of the pumping speed (max. 0.7 m³/h).

Based on the MD 1 and MD 1C series, the ME 1 and ME 1C provide a well-proven and long diaphragm life time.

The Vacuubrand Chemistry-HYBRID-pump RC 6 provides the vacuum performance of an oil-sealed two-stage rotary vane pump (10^-3 mbar) with the unique ability to safely pump condensable or aggressive gases.

The RC 6 is ideal for benchtop freeze dryers, centrifugal evaporators, high-boiling point solvent evaporation and fine vacuum distillation.

Common rotary vane pumps’ corrosion weaknesses are overcome using a chemistry inert diaphragm backing pump. This pump evacuates the oil stages of the rotary vane pump and reduces both the oxygen partial pressure and the partial pressure of corrosive gases. Any reactions within the oil and potential corrosion attacks on the pumping unit are therefore significantly reduced. To ensure the dew point of most common solvents is never reached, the RC 6 balances the pressure and temperature within the oil reservoir. This drastically reduces the occurrence of condensation within the oil stages and increases the oil’s lifetime by many hundreds of percent.

The RC 6 can operate in a variety of applications without the need for a cold trap. Other noteworthy advantages include its drastic reduction of waste oil, its unique ability to condense and recover hazardous vapours, and its resistance to corrosive vapours.

The new chemistry HYBRID pump RC 6 is a great solution for all applications where less than 2 mbar vacuum and corrosion resistance is essential.

The new Vacuubrand automatic chemistry vacuum pumping system PC 3001 VARIO offers latest chemistry diaphragm pump technology combined with a unique fully automated vacuum control system. Applications include rotary evaporation, vacuum concentration, vacuum drying, general distillations and even filtration.

PC 3001 VARIO is an oil free, corrosion resistant pumping system with "high" vacuum. The outstanding ultimate vacuum of 2 mbar allows use with high boiling point solvents like DMSO or DMF at temperatures as low as room temperature.

The vacuum controller’s unique software automatically detects the required process vacuum and tracks changes in the system. Common problems in distillations like bumping of solvents are prevented which lets you concentrate on real research work rather than babysitting your vacuum application.

Vacubrand’s unique encapsulated cylinder head design with stability cores prevents 3 dimensional plastic creeping – outwards, inwards and downwards – which is a common reason for performance loss in other brands. Together with the non-contact flat sandwich diaphragm design this provides long term performance stability and reliability, but most importantly, it provides no stress on the motor. The result is low noise, low temperature and ultimately a much longer life expectancy. Vacuubrand wear part lifetime is up to 20,000h. A further advantage of the non-contact flat sandwich technology is higher performance under vacuum leading to shorter process times.

The DCP 3000 features outstanding corrosion resistant, gas type independent vacuum sensor technology. Revolutionary VACUUBUS communication technology allows connecting of up to 4 external gauge heads at distances up to 30m.

The wide measurement range of 1080 to 0.1 mbar makes the gauge perfect for general laboratory applications including vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, gel drying and "high" vacuum drying on commonly used Schlenk lines.

The digital display comes with analogue trend indication and features an intuitive settings menu. The controller is able to control vacuum, cooling water for solvent recovery systems and venting of the vacuum system. A 10 place program memory allows users to preset parameters for repeat jobs. The software further includes presets for common applications like vacuum drying or filtration.

When combined with VARIO NT pumps the CVC 3000 automatically detects the optimum process pressure and tracks process parameter changes.

Vacuubrand’s new VSP 3000 Chemistry Pirani Vacuum Sensor features unmatched corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness for fine vacuum measurement.

The VSP 3000 is designed for use in chemistry and process engineering.

The VSP 3000 can be combined with Vacuubrand’s DCP 3000 vacuum gauge or CVC 3000 vacuum controller to provide a measurement range from atmospheric pressure to fine vacuum. A maximum of eight external gauge heads - four chemistry Pirani sensors type VSK 3000 (Atm. -10^-3 mbar) and four ceramic capacitive sensors VSP 3000 (Atm. 0.1 mbar) can be connected simultaneously to the DCP 3000 and CVC 3000 for easy measurements at multiple points.

The VACUU.BUS control system features standardised plug connectors and cable lengths of up to 30 meters. The VACUU.BUS is self configuring and easy to use.
