John Morris Scientific are pleased to introduce Adixen’s new general purpose helium leak detector, the ASM 310.

The ASM 310 can find leaks as small as 5 × 10-12mbar.L/s in vacuum test mode. The unit is semi portable, weighs only 21kg and features an oil-free vacuum system.

The ASM 310 features a colour touch screen with easy parameter settings and has multiple read out and protocol functions such as graphical leak signal and trend indication. The test data is stored onto SD memory cards and can also be recorded by using the free software - ASM View. A vacuum diagram shows you the status of all major components such as vacuum pumps, valves and analyser cell.

The ASM 310 uses a contact-free operating diaphragm pump to back its molecular drag pump. The unique low rotational speed of the included turbo molecular pump makes the unit "bullet proof" against accidental air inrush and allows the leak detector to be moved while testing.

Due to the dry vacuum system and ultra low rotational speed of the turbo molecular pump, the leak detector is practically maintenance free. Adixen ASM 310 has two filaments built into the analyser cell as standard, ensuring uninterrupted operation if a filament breaks. The typical lifetime for our filament is 3 years. Filament replacements can be performed in the field without the need for special tools.
